Javelina stopping to smell the flowers. This is not a wild pig. Yes it has the snout like a pig and feet like a pig, but it is not. It is often called a Ringed Peccary or a Javelina. Like the mythical Ferdinand the Bull who preferred smelling flowers to bull fighting, this little fellow seemed to be interested in the wildflowers.
