Rio Grande Running Full
The Rio Grande (Rio means River, of course) is very seldom full, but periodically the dams release irrigation water about a hundred miles north of El Paso. This is when the local canals get irrigation waters for release to the yards, farms, and orchards. By the way, in Mexico this is Rio Bravo. An 11x14 framed print of this image recently sold at the Annual Artistic Celebration of our Mountains Juried Art Show at Ardovino's Desert Crossing in Sunland Park, New Mexico.
