Davis Mountains State Park is about 5100 feet elevation. The surrounding peaks isolate it nicely from telephone service. Some areas of the RV section of the park do have cable TV - weird. By the way, this is just 8-9 miles from McDonald Observatory - located here because it has "the darkest skies in America."
