We've all seen examples of aircraft nose art - usually a "pin-up" gal. I love 'em all, but, to me, this one had a real message. The sky would be filled with these mighty planes on their way to deliver the bombs to help end the awful war. By the way, the little square opening at the bottom was the way the crew members boarded the plane. In fact, this is the way I, and other tour takers, had to climb in. Fortunately, there was a helping hand at the top when I had to unfold my legs.
